The Supreme Court ruling made same-sex marriage a right nationwide on June 26, 2015.

In a long-sought victory for the gay rights movement, the Supreme Court ruled by a 5-to-4 vote on Friday that the Constitution guarantees a right to same-sex marriage.

With this ruling, the United States became the twenty-first and most populous country to recognize same-sex marriage.

This is a big victory for the LGBT community, not only in the United States, but worldwide !

We sincerely hope that more countries are going to legalize same-sex marriage, as to have a more fair and peaceful world.

About the T-shirt:

This T-shirt design has "LOVE WINS" on it, with a heart, with the rainbow flag in it, in place of the O.

In the middle, we put this historical date as to never forget all the time, effort and sacrifices it took us to come to this date.

New motivational shirts

Today we have made a motivational phrase design, on many different and colorful tees.

As you can see below, the phrase goes like this:

Just be comfortable with who you are

A simple, yet strong phrase.

It should motivate everyone to just be like they are.

We believe that, every single human being on this planet is special, and unique. And while it might be good sometimes to be or act like someone else, we believe that the most beautiful things in persons is just to act natural. To be who they are, and to be comfortable with it.

That is why we think that, when you are just being you, not the person you should be, but the person you are, you are doing a great job at being an awesome human being living on this planet.

This simple quote means has so much meaning, and has such a strong force coming out of it.

Due to society and/or their social environment, many people cannot be who they really want to be. But if many people see such shirts, they might help other people who are forced to be someone they are not comfortable to live with, to come out and finally be the person they are the most comfortable with.

We know we are!

And with the new Star Wars movie coming out in December, we thought about making some Star Wars t-shirts.

The quote goes: "Automatic doors make me feel like a Jedi'

I think it's safe to say most people did have that feeling of power in their hands when they were kids, pretending to open automatic doors with a movement from their hands.

Many kids, (and adults!) are probably still doing that a lot. I know I do!

So, if you want to feel like a Jedi, and show to everyone why you are doing that, wearing this t-shirt would be the perfect thing to do!

Today I'd like to talk about the first design we've ever put on SpreadShirt!

It's a very simple, yet stylish design.

As you can see here below, with the men's t-shirt on the left and the women's t-shirt on the right,

it is an interesting design where you have a shining red heart in the center, with a beautiful gold framework around and a cross in the upper center.

Below, we have put the phrase "Love & Peace" in a very calligraphic style font, to signify the balance between the heart and the frame around it, signifying exactly what the phrase says: Love and Peace.

All in all, we believe this is a very refreshing design, left open to a lot of interpretation by the wearer of the shirt, good to use for many occasions.

Saito Hajime Design

We have another design from the Rurouni Kenshin (aka Samurai X) series !

This time, it is a simple, red shadowy design of the Mibu Wolf, Saito Hajime.

The shirts and other items are red, and has a very neat look with a black or other dark background. But any background would fit, really.

The above design has the two Saito's.

On the left side, you have the 'old' version of Saito, when he was still in the Shinsengumi group in Kyoto.

The right side is the 'new' Saito, still being a Mibu Wolf during the Meiji Period in Tokyo, Japan.

Both have a very bright red color, with his name underneath in white. Thus the black background to make it extra cool.

Sanosuke 'evil' symbol t-shirt

As a big fan of the anime and manga Rurouni Kenshin, also known as Samurai X, we designed this type of shirt: http://kawaiifuku.spreadshirt.com/kenshin-aku-sanosuke-evil-I1003991682

The design is from the old Japanese kanji aku (惡) , which means evil or bad.

Zanza, better known as Sagara Sanosuke in the Rurouni Kenshin series, wears this black symbol on the back of his white happi jacket.

 

The above image is the men's t-shirt version, but there is more to see !

You will find t-shirts for men, women, kids, as well as a hat and even more.

All the designs have been put on the back of the shirts, exactly the way Sanosuke displays them in the manga and the anime.
